When I double-click on an OPJ to start Origin, I see an error message. How can I solve this?
On some computers running Windows Vista or 7, you cannot double-click on an OPJ file to launch Origin with the OPJ loaded.
Sometimes this problem can be solved as follows:
1) Open Windows Explorer or your My Computer and browse to your Origin program folder. This is the main folder where your Origin files were installed.
2) Right-click on the Origin exe file (for example, Origin85.exe) and select Properties.
3) On the Compatibility tab, make sure the following two check boxes are cleared (not selected):
Run this program in compatibility mode for:
Run this program as an administrator
4) Click OK to save your changes.
Most customers will find that these check boxes are already cleared, so the problem persists. In this case, try double-clicking a second time right after the first failure. Some customers have reported that this will solve the problem. But for others, there is no solution to the problem and you need to open the OPJ from Origin.

PS: I tried and solved the problem. Now I can use 'copy page' to paste figure into ppt and word normally.
